Biofabricated cellulose grown from microbial fermentation using food-industry by-products. InnoCell-grade BC exhibits high biocompatibility and biodegradability within 60 days. Suitable for edible films, biodegradable food packaging, and potential electronics packaging substrates. Tensile strength ~14 MPa with good flexibility when plasticized.
