Interactive Materials (Chlorella-Based)

Backyard-compostable interactive interface combining unrefined chlorella microalgae with graphite and magnetite to encode 12-bit data through electrical, magnetic, and surface properties. Passive, chip-less design paired with wearable sensors decodes information via touch. Fabricated through heat pressing (135°C) or 3D printing. Degrades completely in outdoor soil within 21 days. Enables sustainable tactile interfaces for buttons, maps, and interactive surfaces without embedded electronics.
