Come funziona
Paper biofuel cell using enzyme-catalyzed glucose oxidation to generate electricity. Printed carbon electrodes with immobilized enzymes on cellulose substrate. Generates power from bodily fluids (sweat, tears) or glucose solutions. Designed for single-use medical diagnostics, smart packaging, and disposable electronics.
Impatto sulla sostenibilità
Eliminates battery waste in single-use devices. Fully biodegradable after use—no toxic materials enter waste stream. Addresses growing e-waste crisis in medical and consumer electronics. Carbon-neutral manufacturing with minimal environmental footprint.
